Brampton's northern edge — Castlemore, Vales of Castlemore, Countryside Villages and the Mayfield Road corridor — runs right up to the Caledon boundary. Buyers there stay in the Region of Peel when they move to Bolton, which is why Upper Bolton comes up so often. North Hill by Solmar is the new freehold townhome and single detached community coming there, just off Highway 50 near Mount Hope Road and Columbia Way.
North Brampton is where the city's subdivisions meet Caledon's countryside. Mayfield Road is the boundary: Brampton to the south, the Town of Caledon — including Southfields, Mayfield West and, further east, Bolton — to the north. Castlemore Road, Countryside Drive and Airport Road carry local traffic; Highway 410 and Highway 427 do the regional work, with Highway 50 forming the eastern edge of the city.
Brampton is one of the fastest-growing cities in Canada, and its remaining new-build supply skews to towns, semis and narrower detached lots. Deep freehold lots have become the scarce product.
From Upper Bolton, Highway 50 south connects to Queen Street, Castlemore Road and Highway 7, and on to Highway 427 and the 407/401 network. Mayfield Road runs west across the top of Brampton toward Highway 410. Bolton is served by Brampton Transit Züm service on Highway 50, with GO bus connections, so transit riders stay within the same operator. A Caledon GO station has been planned for the Bolton area; timing and service are Metrolinx and GO Transit decisions, and we do not publish a distance or an opening date for it.
Routes, not drive times. Whether you work in Brampton, Mississauga, the airport area or Toronto, drive the commute yourself before you commit.

Yes. Brampton and the Town of Caledon, which includes Bolton, are both in the Region of Peel, and the Peel District School Board and Dufferin-Peel Catholic District School Board serve both.
Highway 50 south connects to Queen Street, Castlemore Road and Highway 7, and Mayfield Road runs west across the top of Brampton toward Highway 410. We do not publish drive times — test the route at the hours you would actually travel.
Bolton is served by Brampton Transit Züm service on Highway 50, with GO bus connections, so Brampton transit riders keep the same operator. A Caledon GO station has been planned for the area, but timing and service are Metrolinx and GO Transit decisions.
